Equitable Education Fund (EEF Thailand): Kraiyos Patrawart

Dr. Kraiyos Patrawart is the Managing Director at the Equitable Education Fund (EEF), an independently-managed public fund for equitable education and human development in Thailand. Annually, EEF mobilizes both public and privately-raised funds to prevent school dropouts and to provide scholarships for thousands of resilient underprivileged students. Since 2020, Kraiyos has been appointed by the Royal Thai Government as a member of the Thailand’s national education reform committee to oversee the national education reform plan and makes policy recommendations to the Royal Thai Government in multiple education reform areas. Between 2017- 2019, Kraiyos was also a member of the Independent Committee on Education Reform (ICER) appointed by the Royal Thai Government. He had helped draft a number of key education reform legislations as authorized by the 2017 Constitution of Thailand. Kraiyos obtained his PhD in Economics from the University of London and his MSc in Economics at the University of Warwick. Prior to his appointment as EEF’s Managing Director, he was a Deputy Managing Director and Director of Research Institute at EEF. His previous positions include Assistant Managing Director on policy and research at the Quality Learning Foundation, Research Fellow at Harvard Institute for Quantitative Social Science and Teaching Fellow at Royal Holloway, University of London.

Equitable Education Fund (EEF Thailand): Mr. Anan Vichitanan (Lee)

Previously a student at ISB, Anan has been involved in various community service clubs. He received his Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from Boston University, and his Master’s Degree in Business and Managerial Economics at Chulalongkorn University. Working as an International Affairs Officer at the Equitable Education Fund (EEF) – a Thai governmental organization under the Prime Minister Office, Anan is part of the new generation of staff working to improve education equity in the country. He has experiences as a project manager and establishing connections with international partners. He has collaborated and engaged with UN Agencies, including UNESCO, UNICEF, and the World Bank on innovative projects and events on education and skills development. He is also involved in building an international network of multi-sectoral organizations to advocate for quality education for all in the region.

At the Summit, Anan will share his experiences since studying at ISB about what inspired him to work with service-oriented organizations like Equitable Education Fund (EEF), and his experience working at EEF as an International Affairs Officer. He will also share advice for fellow high school students who are seeking to pursue careers in service-related fields.

Founder of Resubae Group and Content Creator: Charlie Withayachamnankul

Charlie's journey started after graduating from Monash University in Melbourne with a background in startups from AI Chatbot, an investor platform, to a career empowerment business called Resubae. His first job started as a consultant in recruitment and he was later mentored by a prominent businessman who showed him the ropes to grow in the entrepreneurial and corporate world. Since returning to Thailand, he has been an advocate for education and participated in volunteer teaching programs and also went on stage as a representative in One Young World, London. Fast forward, his social media channel is still about sharing and imparting knowledge while his ventures always seek to ensure bringing value to people. As of this year, he is exploring starting a new Chocolate business with partners in Singapore and aims to share a part of his profits to better or support educational development.

Crying Cloud: Sirin Thamakaison

Sirin Thamakaison is a data science student at Tufts University with experience in business strategy, mental health advocacy, and entrepreneurship. She co-founded Crying Cloud, a government-funded non-profit focused on mental health, where she led teams and developed an award-winning app. She also has experience in market research, product development, and digital marketing through roles in both non-profit and social enterprise sectors. With a strong background in leadership and strategy, Sirin is passionate about leveraging data and innovation to create positive change.

Sources of Success: Nathamon (Hilight) Silprachawong 

"Nathamon "Hilight" Silprachawong is currently a junior at the International Community School (ICS) in Bangkok, Thailand. She has distinguished herself as a rising leader among her peers through her role as a founder of Source of Success (SOS).The Source of Success (SOS) organization is an interscholastic collaboration in Thailand with the goal of utilizing student-led interviews to inspire, advocate, and empower youth based on our special guests’ life journeys.

SOS members cold-call individuals that they look up to and conduct interviews with them to gain invaluable insights. We have been recognized by the Diana Awards organization’s website and Twentyfournews–Thailand’s leading news platform with over 163K active subscribers. Hilight believes that the SOS interviews with over 21K views would be further utilized in the SOS Extension Program as teaching materials for students in Grades 7-12 in English Program in 

Thai Schools provide additional education and enhance opportunities for students to practice public speaking skills. 

The SOS extension program looks like briefly watching the SOS interviews and discussing the questions asked in the interview e.g. “what is your leadership style” with the students to cross-analyze, extrapolate, and share perspectives.

Through the SOS platform, Hilight is committed to empowering young individuals, fostering their growth, and igniting positive change within communities and globally."
